Our Team

On your side, from the very start.

Buying, building, or developing property is the biggest financial decision most people ever make. And at the table, everyone else is working for someone else — the agent for the seller, the bank for itself. We started Property Law Services to be the one party who is entirely independent and entirely on your side, from the very first question through to the keys in your hand. Two directors, two branches, one standard of care.

Conveyancing specialists — focused entirely on property.

We are conveyancing specialists, registered with and regulated by the New Zealand Society of Conveyancers under the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006. Conveyancing is what we do — property, all day, every day — which means focused expertise and a person who’s genuinely available, without the overheads of a large general practice.

Gurpreet Kaur, Property Law Services

Gurpreet Kaur

Director / Principal — Auckland Branch

Gurpreet has spent fifteen years handling all aspects of residential and commercial property. Born in Punjab, India, she migrated to New Zealand in 1999, qualified while she worked, and completed her qualifications under the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006 before founding Property Law Services.

She understands what a nervous first home buyer actually feels like, because she’s been on that side of the table. It’s the reason the whole practice is built around being available, patient, and genuinely independent — the one person entirely on your side at the point of purchase.
